The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the last date of admission for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programmes for the August 2026–27 academic session from 15th September 2026 to 13th October 2026.
The last date for uploading admission data through the portal has also been extended to 16th October 2026.
Higher Educational Institutions offering ODL and/or Online programmes are advised to follow the revised timeline and applicable UGC regulations and guidelines.
Students are advised to verify the recognition status of both the programme and the HEI under ODL/Online mode on the UGC-DEB portal before taking admission.
